Loveland Center will be entering a bright new chapter this coming March. It is our pleasure to announce that the board of directors has chosen DanielaKoci as the next President and CEO following CarlPenxa‘s retirement at the end of February.
After 25 years of leading the organization, Mr. Penxa announced his retirement in late August of 2015. Since that time the Board embarked on a search for a successor to Mr.Penxa to carry the organization forward as it expands the scope of its mission.
“Loveland’s Board of Directors identified Ms. Koci as the best candidate to lead the organization in this exciting time of transition,” said Board Chair Debbie LaPinska. “Her demonstrated leadership and passion for the mission will allow for continued growth in supporting adults with developmental disabilities live their lives to the fullest.”
In her 5 years with the organization, Ms. Koci has led the organization’s marketing and communication strategies, managed more than $9 million in local, regional and state funds, and has played an integral role in the development of the Loveland Village expansion.
“I am honored and grateful to have been given the opportunity to lead this organization during this time of growth! I’m confident that we will be able to move our mission forward and have an even greater impact in the developmental disabilities field, locally, regionally, and maybe even beyond!” said Ms. Koci.
