Introducing Loveland’s New Chief Development Officer

Robles joins Loveland Center
Rafael Robles recently joined the Loveland Center team as its Chief Development Officer. Robles brings a multicultural, customer-centric approach to the Loveland Center with more than 20 years of experience in higher education and fundraising. In this senior leadership role, Robles will support the Loveland Center’s strategic philanthropic objectives. He will oversee existing fundraising operations, grow individual, corporate and foundation revenue and build a giving culture across the organization.

Prior to joining Loveland Center, he served as a philanthropy officer at Tidewell Hospice in Sarasota and a major gifts officer for the College of Engineering at the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Fla. His tenure at Miami included posts as a corporate liaison, administrator and educator.
Robles holds a bachelor’s degrees in comparative literature from Columbia University in New York and French studies from Dartmouth College in Hanover, N.H. He also completed postgraduate work in executive leadership at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business in Charlottesville, Va.
Robles has lectured on U.S. business acumen and higher education in Latin America, Asia and Europe, and he is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP).
