Loveland’s Support Services is comprised of a number of support services for individuals with disabilities.
Supported Employment
Supported Employment navigates the employment process for people with support from trained and certified job coaches (click to expand). Job coaches are a part of each step in the employment process from hiring and interview skills through securing and maintaining employment. Supported Employment also empowers employers with assistance in building inclusive workforces.
Our individualized approach allows us to customize services to meet the needs and goals of both the job-seeker and the employer. For those with a job but are seeking additional support, a coach performs site visits and regularly checks in with the employer and the participant to provide appropriate feedback. For those seeking a job, a skills assessment enables our team to match the right job for the individual.
The supported employment specialist can provide the following support:
Employment assessments to match job-seeker with ideal employer;
Job search, development and placement;
Interview techniques;
On-the-job training;
Follow-up job coaching and support;
Ongoing communication with employers and coworkers;
Assistance with arranging transportation.
Supported Living
Supported living helps you to live independently with services including budgeting, shopping, managing household repairs, and more.
Supported Volunteers
Supported volunteers connect you with your community through volunteer experiences in order to gain the necessary employment-related skills.
Personal and Companion Supports
Personal and Companion Supports provide both medical and non-medical services such as personal hygiene, house cleaning, and transportation to appointments. Companion services offer non-medical, community-based, care, such as recreational activities and community exploration.
