Loveland Center Programs in Venice, North Port, Port Charlotte and Bradenton WILL CONTINUE TO BE CLOSED, AT LEAST, UNTIL APRIL 15, 2020.

Good Morning Loveland Center Participants, Families, and Caregivers. I wanted to reach out to give you an update on the status of The Loveland Center Inc. ADT programs.

We held a virtual Board of Director’s meeting yesterday, and after a lot of discussion on, if and how, we could continue to provide ADT program services at the beginning of April, there was consensus that until we see some positive changes in the virus outbreak, it is imperative to keep our participants, our staff, and their families safe and healthy.  Therefore, the decision has been made to continue the closure of the ADT programs until, at least, April 15, 2020.

In addition, I want to reach out to those who still need some type of day-to-day support. We are continuing to provide “modified” supported employment, personal supports, and companion services, so please let us know how we can help.

We realize this situation is extremely fluid, and Loveland will continue to monitor CDC, state government, and city health advisories to evaluate any additional steps needed to secure the health and well being of our participants and staff members.

Thank you,

Loveland Center Administration and Board

COVID-19 Advisory Update
March 16, 2020
7:10PM
Loveland Center Programs in Venice, North Port, Port Charlotte and Bradenton WILL BE CLOSED BEGINNING MARCH 17,2020 THROUGH MARCH 31, 2020.
In light of the new guidelines given out today by the Federal Government, Loveland will be closing its ADT programs through end of the day March 31, 2020.  This has been an extremely difficult decision for our Agency to make as we know the importance that our services are to the participants of our programs and their families.  We are sorry for any convenience and life disruptions the cancellation of programs may create.
We realize this situation is extremely fluid, and Loveland will continue to monitor CDC, state government, and city health advisories to evaluate any additional steps needed to secure the health and well being of our participants and staff members.
Thank you,
Loveland Center Administration
